1.0 Prohibited Content
Hosting, transmitting or linking to the following is prohibited on any HostWave service: illegal content; child sexual abuse material; malware, botnets or command-and-control infrastructure; phishing or fraud material; unauthorised copyrighted works; content that infringes third-party rights; and content that violates applicable law in the location of the service.
2.0 Prohibited Activity
- Unsolicited bulk email, list harvesting, mail bombing or spoofing.
- Port scanning, penetration testing or attacking systems without written authorisation.
- Denial-of-service attacks, traffic amplification or stress-testing against third parties.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared or reseller hosting, or on VPS plans where sustained CPU use exceeds fair-use limits.
- Proxy/VPN exit nodes used to anonymise abusive traffic, or Tor exit nodes.
- Hosting pirated media, warez or "nulled" software.
- Any activity that degrades service quality for other customers.
3.0 Resource Fair Use
Shared and reseller plans are subject to fair-use limits on CPU, memory, inodes and concurrent connections. Sustained usage that affects other clients may result in throttling, a required plan change, or suspension. VPS plans may use their full allocated resources, but must not impact the host node or network.
4.0 Enforcement
We investigate reports of abuse and may request corrective action, suspend the affected service, or terminate it. Severe or intentional violations may result in immediate termination without refund and a ban from future orders. Where legally required, we report incidents to the competent authorities.
5.0 Reporting Abuse
Report abuse to abuse@hostwave.cloud with the IP address, timestamp and a description of the incident. Reports are handled confidentially.
